Because Santa Barbara is such a worldwide destination, we are blessed to have so many world class hotels in our area.
The one pictured above is the San Ysidro Ranch, a truly beautiful resort in the foothills above Montecito. Gorgeous grounds, luxurious accommodations, and two award-winning restaurants, The Stonehouse and Plow & Angel, are just a few of the amenities here. This is where I proposed to my beautiful Julie in 2013.
The Four Seasons Resort The Biltmore Santa Barbara is a seaside resort right across the street from the Pacific Ocean. Wonderful grounds, one seaside restaurant, and the awesome Coral Casino make for a memorable stay.
The Ritz-Carlton Santa Barbara is a little North of town, which makes it seem like an oasis all by itself. Privacy is one perk of this gorgeous resort, along with Angel Oak Restaurant and many more.
There is also the Belmond El Encanto, a lovely hotel located on "The Riviera," not far from the Santa Barbara Mission. It offers great views of the ocean!
The two newest additions to the Santa Barbara luxury hotel scene are the Hotel Californian and the Rosewood Miramar Beach Montecito. The Hotel Californian is located near the beach and close to Downtown, making it very convenient for a nice stroll around town. This hotel has the vibe of larger city hotel while keeping the charm of our lovely area. The Rosewood Miramar Beach Montecito is the only local luxury hotel right on the sand and boasts a wonderful assortment of amenities, including it's signature restaurant, Caruso's, which is located just above the sand and affords spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean.
